Well, as you can tell from the date on this message, I *did* post it in
plenty of time for people to set their VCRs, but I guess the list was
down or something.
Anyway, it *was* the SB Bob Sherman was in the "MacGyver" movie. He
had a fairly big role (about the same size as in a typical SANDBAGGERS
episode ;-), but gets killed off halfway through the movie (MacGyver
gets framed for his murder). His character was an American ex-agent
who had been stationed in Britain and got dismissed from his job (many
years ago) for employing excessive force when he interrogated a
prisoner (or something like that). Kind of an echo of his SB role,
which was interesting.
The movie itself had enough holes in its plot that it was never quite
clarified (at least to me) about whether his character was a "good
guy" or a "bad guy". Circumstantial evidence would have to say "bad
guy".
I did catch the movie on tape. If anybody's dying for a copy, let me
know, and maybe we can work something out.
