Belgium did not always play itself.
In "My Name is Anna Wiseman", Mike went to Belgium and
picked up his rifle from the boot of a car. This was filmed in
the car park of the Physics department at the University of
York (where I used to work). Several location shots were
filmed at the University campus, probably because it has a
good range of unusual background architecture. - AND the
fact that it is only 20 miles up the road from the Yorkshire
Television studios. I remember falling off my chair the first
time I saw my workplace in my favourite series!
