He was beaten up in 'Who Needs Enemies'. Remember how Dalgetty tried (and
almost succeeded) to move in while Neil was in the hospital ? He (Dalgetty)
circumvented distribution procedures by passing along directly to Peel, the
KGB - planted 'CIA assessment ' which criticised Neil, and defamed the
Madrid Head of Station.
