Some questions

To finally throw my hat in and say something: here are my thoughts on the
questions proposed:

1. Willie's not dead, only wounded. Tho' killing him would probably be
crueler to Burnside (not to mention what it would do to Willie....).

2. The Hutch is the "guys" office, probably called such because it's as
small as a.... According to Alan Denson, the Lady's loo is larger and
better appointed (though how he knew that was always a question....).

3. Malta was cheap, apparently. It also stood in for Cypress and
Rhodes, so if you're thinking all those mediterranean locations look the
same--you're right!

4. I'm trying to remember where Ray Lonnen said Sofia really was--
someplace in Yorkshire, I think.

5. Angst. Playing politics may be more accurate, but doesn't provide
nearly as much angst.

6. I think SIS is a branch of the Foreign Office. At Least Sir
Geoffrey is the Permanent Under-Secretary of the Foreign Office, so that
makes sense. Neil is in charge of all operations, not just the Sandbaggers.
We're told he's got direct jurisdiction over the Station No. 2s. I don't
remember who oversees the Station Heads--Peele, I think.

Anyone is welcome to refute any of the above--I'm just doing them off the
top of my head (my old SB letterzines are lying at my feet, but I'm too lazy
to look anything up).
