The man is a superb actor. My favorite role of his is the
'pseudo-God' in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Speaking of current sightings, has anybody seen Marsden as Henry
Higgins in a London theatrical production of My Fair Lady? "Wouldn't
it be loverley?"

I was pleased to see Richard Vernon (the first C in the series) in a
Rumpole episode recently shown by KTEH (San Jose, California),
"Rumpole on Trial." He played Rumpole's dentist ("Lionel Leering" for
the trivia fans). He also had an incidental part in a Lovejoy episode
shown this week by A&E, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Although his
role seemed to call for it, he, sad to say, was in a wheelchair and
didn't look healthy. Good acting? I hope so.
