edge of darkness soundtrack and the NRA/ARA dispute

i have been informed that the edge of darkness soundtrack recorded by
eric clapton is not available in the united states, only in the uk.
there was a rumor that the us version would be made some time soon. but
alas, as with all rumors, it didn't pan out.

if it is available here at all, it would be as "underground" music. i
don't get to san francisco often enough to search the appropriate music
shops for this. any other sandbaggers who are into this kind of thing?

as an alternate form of behavior, i was also advised to make a friend in
the uk to get my hands on it. are there any uk denizens who would like a
new friend? and who would love to do favors for people they don't know?

as an aside: re the remarks about the NRA and the fictitious ARA

it was a story. it didn't need to be factual. the implication was clear.
america was not seen in a good light by the writers of the script. so
what? i didn't see any need to be insulted should they have been
factually correct. let's not castigate the makers of fantasyland.
