Yeah, objective logic is a pretty good way of running foreign policy. By
objective logic, the French were entitled to reparations after World War
I, so they demanded and got them at Versailles. The Germans succeeded in
paying the French off by inflating their own currency, destroying their
economy, and bankrupting their middle class... all of which created a
fertile breeding ground for Nazism.
